Our Story
1. Founding
The Hindu Center wasn't founded until later, but a group of pioneering families, notably including Dr. Manikoth G. Kurup and businessman Ranjit Sen, started hosting an annual Festival of India in 1981, and that rapidly grew, going from a few hundred to around 20,000.

3. Now
Currently, HCV has three buildings, the main temple, the cafeteria, and a performance building. They now offer many more classes, and are working to expand their community.

2. Expansion
HCV's own permanent building was built in the 1990's, creating a space for the large gatherings. They started teaching classes around that time, but it wasn't very many.
